Stems Cells & Stress Hormones

Posted Mar 14 2009 4:32pm
Lotsa buzz about Dr. Cheney's inclusion of stem cells into his new treatment protocol for CFS. Whether it's for oxygen toxicity or lyme disease ( blog on embryonic stem cells used in in India for regeneration ) , stem cells are finally picking up steam in mainstream discussion of treatment for invisible illnesses.

Also, a more sophisticated take by the incomparable Dr. Sarah Myhill on adrenal impairment in CFS than the usual "take some cortef." Very good advice on monitoring hormonal levels and not scarfing down DHEA like candy for prolonged periods just cuz the compounding pharmacies sweeten it with stevia. I know I'm not the only guilty one.
