One other thing I would recommend is MyFitnessPal . As I said Wednesday, I love this app for my iPhone and my laptop. In addition, you can find your friends on it who are using it and encourage each other. Lastly, it really helps you get a good idea of what you are eating, not eating, exercise (even walking the dog counts) and how much water intake you are getting in.
