Here's an
interview I did with Jimmy Moore from
Livin' La Vida Low-Carb. There's a couple of things I'd like to mention. First off I apologize for the 200 uh huhs in the interview (oiy vey) and secondly when I was talking about telling the difference between fatigue and depression I got a little derailed so this is what I meant to say....
Depressed people will feel better with exercise and so will mildly fatigued people. But people with moderate and severe fatigue actually feel worse. This is a huge point in my book, it's called Post Exertional Malaise or worsening of symptoms that occurs after exercise, it may happen following exercise or even the next day and it lasts for at least 24 hours. If this is the case then it's one of the acid tests to diagnose chronic fatigue. My book will give you a good guide on how to not only pace your activities but to structure your exercise, which is called graded exercise, so that you can recover from fatigue. Because like I said you can't get healthy without exercise but you have to know how to do it and follow a very structured plan.
Also I neglected to mention the fact that most people need to take an omega 3 supplement in the form of cod liver oil or some other pure fish oil source. AND L-lysine is NOT an herb it's an amino acid....all for now. I hope you enjoy the interview and let me know if you have any questions.
