Had a cold one month ago, have dry cough and feel tired, should I see the doctor, am 78yrs old

Dear Helen -

 

Sorry for the delay in responding to you - I was away on vacation this past month.  I hope by now you have gone to see your doctor.  The typical length of a cold is 7 - 10 days, so symptoms that persist longer than that should definitely be checked out by a doctor.

You posted your question in the CFS forum, but cough is not a typical CFS symptom.  Your doctor can help to figure out what's going on - perhaps you developed bronchitis after your cold.
