I'm not religious, but I'm praying for all the families around Sylmar, Orange County, and Montecito. My house is around 5 miles from the Carbon Canyon fires in Orange County, and my dad has started packing up valuables. I have no idea what 90 degree weather is doing in the middle of November, even if it is southern California. There's a ton of brush in the corridor separating us from the heart of the fires, so I'm crossing every prehensile body part I have for quick containment.
