Beet your Fatigue with this Root!!

Hey People,

I recently watched an English health programme that covered an interesting food topic focusing on fatigue and oxygen levels in athletes. All of you of course are very familiar with fatigue. My own experience with fatigue always felt like there was an oxygen problem within my body. This particular topic interested me for this reason. They discussed the health benefits of beetroot in relation to higher performance levels. I felt this could be beneficial to people who suffer with chronic fatigue. 

The study was carried out by The University of Exeter. This is what they had to say:
"New research into the health benefits of beetroot juice suggests it’s not only athletes who can benefit from its performance enhancing properties – its physiological effects could help the elderly or people with heart or lung-conditions enjoy more active lives.

Beetroot juice has been one of the biggest stories in sports science over the past year after researchers at the University of Exeter found it enables people to exercise for up to 16% longer.

I was eating beetroot anyway, but I make sure it is a daily staple now. I choose to eat it raw. Even my dog likes it :-)
