Was really looking forward to my acupuncture session today, and once again, it did not disappoint. He worked on the Triple Heater (san jiao) meridian a ton today and agreed with doc that it's a troublesome one at the moment for me. I recall him working on it during our first session too. Stressed organs: heart, lung, liver, kidney, gallbladder, small intestine. A lot more came up this time, and I'm sure it has to do with increased detox/chelation. To recap: the lung is my "constitution"--in acupuncture, this means that you are born with one particular pattern with inherent strengths and weaknesses. My digestion is better.
When I asked him about the viral issues in the heart, he said that will probably take a good deal of time to resolve and will definitely wax and wane more than other issues until it levels out. I suspect the san jiao meridian will be a focus going forward.
When I asked him about the autoimmune issues he suspected at our last visit, he said he'd actually misread something in the brainstem which has shifted quite a bit since then. Very happy about that--autoimmune issues just throw a monkey wrench into every type of treatment.
Side note: his eyes also lit up as he skeezily said: "Your libido is up!" My peace is certainly growing, but my privacy is officially out the window. I will not leave until he teaches me how to measure a woman's libido. I kid I kid.
