Anything by Lau or Catherine Shaker will help you.  Remember, nipples are designed to reduce or stop the flow during pauses to breathe. A cut nipple is like driving with no stop signs, no time the infant can escape flow. Think of someone pouring liquid in your mouth, with your hands restrained AND being reclined +underdeveloped respiratory system....it is COMMON sense. Babies feed more in a 24 hour time period on a slow flow nipple than a medium flow.  I hope this helps you! Cheri
