What is about kids feet that is just the sweetest thing imaginable, they are so little, perfect, soft, and basically not worn. I love playing this little piggy, and have made up a song, and when I get to the last piggy the anticipation on their faces is so very exciting to watch.
When Gage was in the hospital, his feet were well worn from all the needles. Somehow the band-aids with all the fun designs didn't make a difference to him, the pain still was there no matter how colorful or fun the design. Whenever he got poked I would leave the room as I really could not stand him going through any more pain, sometimes once was not good enough for them and they would poke until I couldn't take it anymore! "Tomorrow is a new day I would tell them", please come back and try again tomorrow. Daddy always called him the human pin cushion and would vent his frustration at their eager attempts to draw even more blood. It often amazed me how something so little could endure all the pain on a daily basis.
Gage at first would not like his feet being touched when he came home, the games we would play with his sisters and him would make him a little less hesitant to be touched on the feet..........Hence, this little piggy cried wee, wee, wee, all the way home!
