my daughter (7 years old) has been having white bumps appear on the tip and side of her tongue for a few months. they start out white, then turn clear. they are a bit painful and can make food taste funny. the doctor thinks it could be a fungus but the medicine doesn't help. we tried cutting out common food allergies and they got worse. the dentist thinks she might be rubbing her tongue against her teeth and suggested brushing the tongue with a hard bristle tooth brush. nothing is helping and just when it seems to get better, the bumps come back. what else can we try?
