We decided to let Stella buy her lunch today. She's been getting the same staples in her lunch for a few months now and she refused to eat yesterday, so we thought, change it up. Plus, today was PIZZA day. Well that little stinker REFUSED to eat. Refused to eat PIZZA! She loves pizza. She finally ate the fruit when Ms. Sue (from the older kids' class) came in and sat with her. She was super dramatic about it. She also didn't drink her milk or eat her sherbert. Oh well. Her loss!
Quint is really enjoying sitting up and playing with toys. And it's such a step forward from having to hold him all the time. He is so squirmy and wiggly that trying to do anything (eat, drink, work on the computer, etc) was impossible while holding him....but he'd fuss if laid down. So, we're both very happy with this new sitting up arrangement. Plus it's about time we put that old Boppy pillow that has never been used for breastfeeding to use!!
Audrey is super excited about Christmas this year. And not just the whole presents aspect (although she has continually asked for a bike, told Santa about wanting a bike, and learned the sign for bike) but also the true meaning behind the season. She loves all the music and decorations. She about burst when we pulled out the decorations last weekend. She wanted them all up right.this.second. The first thing she does when we head downstairs in the morning is to turn on the Christmas music and the lights on the tree. It's so amazing to see the wonder of the season through her eyes. What a gift!
