...is a full time walker now. Walking is her method of getting around all.the.time. Which is great, but also means she can get into more stuff. :-)
She started walking around 19 months, in early November. She'd do it when she wanted or when we really took the time to throw a big party to encourage her. Around Christmas she really took off. I think she just decided, "now is the time". And never looked back. She's doing really well. Still looks a little like ET, especially while wearing her shoes. We're working with her on changing surfaces and small steps. I'm trying to remember to always put her down when we're going somewhere so we can practice walking while holding hands/with purpose. This means building more time into our schedule, but I am hopeful it will help in the long run.
