my 2 year old toddler is experiencing persistent skin rash on stomach and, arms & thighs, similar to chicken pox, but without pus pockets. he has abdominal pain after eating and has sporadic diahrrea. my pediatrician took a blood sample & determined it viral with no specific diagnosis. he promised it would dissipate with a BRAT diet and a regimen of Zyrtec, but here I am, 3.5 weeks later with sustained symptoms, shall I seek a dermatologist?, or am I better served to simply wait this out? I just hate to see my child itchy and miserable
