We had another scan at Kings today. After our scare last week we brought our appointment forward by a few days to make sure everything is in place and Robbie doesn't have any ideas to get out anytime soon. The good news is that my fluid levels haven't increased and my cervix length is the same, 33. Robbie seems to be responding amazingly to the balloon. His LHR today was 2.3 and 3- they always measure it twice. 3 seems unlikely but even 2.3 is a great result. The consultant noticed that the balloon had slipped a bit more towards the right, which could explain why his right lung looks so big. She said that usually the balloon blocks both lungs but in this particular case it has blocked on more than the other. They will discuss it with Prof.Nicolaides and see if it's not something that they should do going forward. We are booked for the balloon removal on Thursday, February 9th. I will be 33+5 then, same as when Alina had the balloon popped. We're keeping fingers crossed that everything goes well until then.
