Published by Young Media Australia, small screen is a unique monthly review of the latest events, press clippings, new and proposed legislation changes, seminars and conferences, publications, and research into the effects of films, television, video games and new media on children.

The newsletter contains brief articles, news items, presentation of new literature and ongoing research projects from different parts of the world. The publication addresses researchers, policymakers, media professionals, teachers, voluntary organizations and interested individuals worldwide.The newsletter is published twice a year on the Internet only, in April/May and November/December.
