Perspective

Posted Jun 13 2009 12:11am

In light of my recent posts, I just wanted to say a few things.

1. I appreciate all the thoughts, concerns and well wishes.

2. One gift that Stella has given me being a member of the T21 community has given me is perspective. There are so, so many things that your child could have, your husband could have, your loved ones could have, that are much bigger, much scarier than what I have ever had staring me in the face. So, as a lovely woman who talked me off a ledge advised, I choose to not borrow trouble. I'll dose my kid with amox, keep her hopped up on Tylenol and, hopefully, in a day or two, she'll be back to her smiley, big blue eyed, caring big sister self.

3. The above is not to say that *I*, or anyone else for that matter, aren't allowed to bitch about the mundane annoyances of every day life. First of all, this is my blog, and I'll bitch about what I damn well feel like! But more importantly, it's life people, we're gonna get fed up, I know that, I get that! *I* just try to remember that these annoyances are so very minor in the grand scheme of things. And, this may be shocking to some, most of the time I even throw Ds in the minor annoyance bucket.
