Just great several popular brands of children's over the counter medicines are being recalled in the US and eleven other countries due to poor quality standards. If your child takes these common allergy or cold medicines it is advised you stop using them. The popular brands include: Tylenol, Tylenol Plus, Motrin, Zyrtec and Benadryl
The recall was not ordered by the FDA because of any adverse side effects; but are based on poor quality standards because some of the products recalled may have a higher concentration of active ingredient than is specified on the bottle. The medicines were made and distributed in the United States, and exported to Canada, the Dominican Republic, Dubai, Fiji, Guam, Guatemala, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago and Kuwait.
