Alternately titled: Why Does it Take Us So Long to Motivate?


My Dad, while he was visiting, lit a fire under our tushies about getting a plush rug for in our den. We did have a fiber rug down, which was fine and we liked the way it looked, but it was murder to actually sit on, which we do a lot of, and Lord knows the kids must have hated it. We've been needing to replace the fiber rug for, um, years. We knew that. We just hadn't gotten "around to it", much like other stuff that needs to get done in our house. So, we were out one day and he, basically, said, I'm getting you this rug. And it was great. Given that, we decided to get another one to cover some more area in the room. The first one is primarily a dark brown with some blue highlights. I really like it.
Please ignore the mess in this room, I can't motivate to clean, and the flash, I'm too lazy to figure out the lighting.

The second one, which we purchased, is primarly blue with brown and tan highlights. I thought they would play well off of each other. Now I'm not so sure.
