my son has two very dark red looks a bit like holes on the roof of his mouth what could it be he is only 11 month old . can you

On the roof of my 11month old sons mouth he has got what looks like two holes on the arche one on either side. they are not holes  but it looks deeep and very red. the arche on his mouth is very high to . can you help please .
