My son has a fever, cough and sore feet. That seems odd to me... is it normal to have sore feet w/ fever and cough?

REVISED DETAILS! Could his broken arm (slight fracture) and or the cast have anything to do with this? The fever started 7/30 and the cough started 8/1 and the sore feet 8/2. He is 6 yrs old.
