My seven year old son has had strep throat 5 times since December and 3 abscess teeth. Are they related?

Requested referral to ENT.  Seems like he is not fighting oral infection for some reason.  All abscess were involving baby teeth which were pulled.  2 were molars.  This last infection was on the tooth beside the upper canine.
