My nephew has red spots on his legs, one is 2.5 inches in diamete, and thse spots have a single red line going up the legs.

Red spots in the shape of tadpoles on legs and spreading to the body. Loss of appetite (just had appendix out on Monday), but the sot are unrelated to the appentectomy. What can be the cause of these tadpole shaped spots?
