My daughter has a dry rough skin growth that is black in color on the back of her neck what could that be?

I BELIEVE IT IS FROM BEING OVER WEIGHT. ITS WHEN THE SKIN RUBS TOGETHER. I ALSO HAVE THAT SAME PROBLEM. IT WAS WORSE BEFORE I STARTED LOOSING WEIGHT. I LOST A LIL OVER 100 POUNDS AND NOW MY NECK DONT RUB TOGETHER LIKE IT DID BEFORE. ALSO WIPING NECK WITH WASH CLOTH ELIMINATES DIRT U CAN ALSO USE ALCOHOL TO REMOVE DIRT.  NOW THAT MY NECK NO LONGER CONNECTS TO MY SHOULDERS MY NATURAL COLOR IS COMING BACK. I STILL HAVE A LIL ROUGHNESS. IT COULD ALSO LEAD TO EXTRA SKIN ON THE NECK (KINDA LOOKS LIKE A BUMB OF SKIN, THAT CAN BE REMOVED BY A DOCTOR OR WITH A RAZOR BY APPLYING WART FREEZE APPLICATOR TO NUMB AREA). TRY ENCOURAGING HER TO DO NECK EXERCISES ALONG WITH ASSISTING HER WITH EATING HEALTHY AND EXCERCISING. :0)
