my 7 year old son went hunting yesterday and he now has small hard red bumps on his back. they dont itch he says. what are they?

he went hunting yesterday and when he came home i checked him and he had nothing on his body. he came home from school and he has 11 small hard red bite looking bumps on his back and 2 on his arm. he said they dont itch....any ideas
