My 2 year old daughter has a urinary tract infection with ecoli

Her doctor said the cultures had ecoli. Im a clean freak, she is properly taken care of at potty time I know to wipe front to back and she is never sitting in it since shes potty trained so how did she get this? Her doctor wasn't that concened so Im guessing its not as bad as it sounds but i need some info on how this happened so I can prevent it in the future. Thank you!
