Stella signed milk this morning. Okay, so, do I really think she got the connection between what her hand was doing and the actual concept of "milk" - not sure. But her hand made the milk sign twice ~ all the while I'm signing "milk" back to her and saying "milk". So then I signed it again asking her if she wanted milk. She signed it back to me and I gave her some milk....so we'll see if it sticks. Either way, it was exciting to see that she had the physical ability to form that actual sign.
