The Centers for Disease Control reports the Measles Outbreak of 2008 is the highest number of cases of measles seen in a decade. The number is now at 131 cases. 91% of the children who contracted measles were unvaccinated by parent choice. Parents who opt out of vaccines make their choice, and their kids have to live with it. Fortunately, there have not been any deaths at this point. For folks who say they'd rather their child get the measles than take any perceived risk from the shots, we say—you have never seen measles, have you?
