My daughter poops once in 3-5 days. It's not quite constipation - she holds it in on purpose. We spoke with the pediatrician and are working with her to go regularly through a modified diet and more liquid intake. She's 3 years old. Lately her poop is light brown and orange in color. Should I be concerned?
I would watch her. What does the doctor say? Sometimes in toddlers the color of poop matches whatever it is they're eating/drinking. This could be a result from giving her lots of juices -- at least that's what happens with my kids when they had too much juice as a toddler. What juices/foods are you giving her as part of her modified diet?
