One Psy. perscribed 7.5mil 2X a day for my child. Masshealth refuses to give us 2 tablets. I have been cutting them. Another psy. stated that, by my cutting the tablet--once the pill has been introduced to oxygen the pill looses it effectiveness. Is this true or false? I called Eli Lilly and they could not tell me. All of their studies were done with non-cut tablets. They said that the pill may discolor if cut, however they do not know about it's effectiveness.
