i need help with my 5 yr old boy who is really aggressive. where can i get help.

my son seems to have many problems... i currently take him to a pshyciatris but he only speaks to me and not him, so that is what he goes by to prescribe him medication. i dont think that is the best way to do so. i have been doing this for a little over 6 months already. what can i do..???
