My 5 year old son has had a fever for the past 2 days off and on. About 5:00 p.m. he spiked to 103.8 and about 8:00 p.m. he has swollen lips and has obvious fever blisters?? Is this commn and how should I treat the fever blisters--they are on his upper and lower lips and he is very swollen.
