Bullied Teen, Amanda Todd, Loses Her Battle With Bullying&Self-Hate

Sadly, I just learned of this young teens video she posted on Youtube over a month ago. Apparently she needed someone to help her and be there for her. She lost her battle with bullying, self-hate, guilt, shame and pain and committed suicide this past week . In her video she held cards explaining her story.
The last card simply said:
"I have nobody. I need someone. My name is Amanda Todd."
Beneath the video, Todd posted a note saying:
I'm struggling to stay in this world, because everything just touches me so deeply. I'm not doing this for attention. I'm doing this to be an inspiration and to show that I can be strong. I did things to myself to make pain go away, because I'd rather hurt myself then someone else.
Haters are haters but please don't hate, although im sure I'll get them. I
hope I can show you guys that everyone has a story, and everyones
future will be bright one day, you just gotta pull through. I'm still here
aren't I ?
I don't know what happened to her friends and family while she was going through this, but she obviously needed them or someone to be there for her. This is another reason having a strong faith in God is essential to pull through the tough times in life. When you feel like nobody is there for you, He is! Live for Him and He will pull you through. When we live for Him, we avoid living in shame, guilt and self-hate because we are living morally and doing things to please Him and we learn to love ourselves. When you feel down and overwhelmed as if nothing will change or get better, pray! Know that 'God does not challenge us with more than we can handle'. Keep a journal, read the Bible, write poems, talk to a close friend or family member, seek counseling, do whatever it takes in addition to strengthening your faith to make yourself stronger and better.
While this may sound foreign or foolish to those who have no faith, it is one of the best ways to overcome life's challenges and struggles. You may think it sounds silly but do whatever it takes, the more you strengthen your faith... the more you are shielded from pain and the stronger you become. Hate, bullying, struggles, self-hate and pain become like water on a ducks back or non-existent...you become stronger, more resilient, more mature and more capable of overcoming these challenges.
Christ was hated and killed by those who hated and disbelieved Him. Yet He still showed love and forgiveness. He died for our sins and wants us to live for Him. If we live a life seeking to please Him we will avoid self-hate, guilt and shame. We may not avoid those who hate us and we may not always agree with others, but with His love, He is all we need. Our family and friends may not always be there, but God is and He wants us to overcome hard times in life and gives us the freedom to make good and bad choices. He wants us to learn from our mistakes. Mistakes strengthen us and help us to overcome challenges but also help to remind us what we must do things different and better to be more like Christ, strong, resilient & forgiving.

I responded with this comment:
Do you have proof of this accusation? Either way she obviously couldn't cope and needed more support in her life to guide her. If she had any faith in God she might have found the strength to overcome, a strong family is essential to troubled teens/kids. I know, I was once one of them, but now I am thankful I had my family and faith to pull me through. Very sad situation either way, whether it was for attention or not. Nobody should take their own life or anothers for any reason! RIP Amanda!GBU
