Ava's new DAFO 3 braces came in today. She doesn't seem to mind them at all. She will get KAFO's after she can bear weight. So, these are good little braces to start with.
   I ordered her AFO liners from keepingpace and the lady said we need the smallest sock size she's ever ordered. They have to be drop shipped and will be here next Friday. I'm ordering her shoes from Hatchbacks. I did get her some extra wide from striderite, but they are still hard to get on and are already messing up the straps (see above). She went from a size 4 to a size 6 1/2. Now, a question for all you DAFO pros....How do I keep her toes from curling? And How do I know if they're too tight?  |
