Ava is now 5 days post-op and doing okay. Still on increased oxygen support. Her voice is still raspy, but that just may be her "new" voice. Swelling around her top teeth is down and her nose isn't bleeding as much (she was intubated through her nose). Very quiet and cuddly, which is just fine with me.
Here's the surprise I promised. I hope it's not anti-climactic. I love the progress she's making, however slow it is. She's using a pony gait trainer, which she loves. I haven't mastered the art of montages yet. haha
