I came for a vacation to hyderabad last month since then my 7 month old baby boy is suffering from cough.consulted a doctor and started cough syrup.but the cough persisted.then started showing slight increase in temp also around 99.5F.then started an antibiotics for fever.even then there was no change in cough.then started amoxillin for 2 weeks as the xray show slight pneumonia.then the cough came down to some extent .so was giving him expectorant.still the cough persisted but not severe. so the doc perscribed for a blood test.it showed everything normal even the mountax test. doc told there is a slight increase in the eosinophilic count which is around 700.but told it is not a problem.
