Well I have continued on my iodine drops and have noticed a big improvement! Interestingly I was doing some research on
PCOS and iodine deficiency.

Symptoms of PCOS•infrequent menstrual periods, no menstrual periods, and/or irregular bleeding
•infertility (not able to get pregnant) because of not ovulating
•increased hair growth on the face, chest, stomach, back, thumbs, or toes—a condition called hirsutism (HER-suh-tiz-um)
•ovarian cysts
•acne, oily skin, or dandruff
•weight gain or obesity, usually carrying extra weight around the waist
•insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes
•high cholesterol
•high blood pressure
•male-pattern baldness or thinning hair
•patches of thickened and dark brown or black skin on the neck, arms, breasts, or thighs
•skin tags, or tiny excess flaps of skin in the armpits or neck area
•pelvic pain
•anxiety or depression due to appearance and/or infertility
•sleep apnea—excessive snoring and times when breathing stops while asleep

http://theiodineproject.webs.com/fmscfsfbdpcosadrena.htm The reason I was pondering this was of course the infertility but also I've started to notice some odd hair growth. I'd say I have about half the symptoms on the list above. I was just curious if maybe the PCOS could be caused by iodine deficiency, because I have been noticing such a HUGE improvement on the iodine. However since I've been without enough iodine so long, I don't want to take too much at a time. I've felt my back muscles slooooowly starting to relax. Last weekend, my left shoulder let out a huge POP and seemed to release! Then, it was quite sore for several days and now it feels awesome! So, I think the iodine is helping to relax some of the muscles, and the joints are now able to relax back into their original positions. I'm still waiting for my right shoulder to release. It's still sore and cramped up.
Just about everyone I try to tell about this iodine improvement does not believe me. But I've tried just about everything and this is one of the best things I've done - no joke! Most of us have been brainwashed to believe we get enough iodine in salt. Fact is, that is just enough to keep us from not getting goiters, but not enough for true health. Also there is IODIDE and IODINE - 2 slightly different nutrients and we need both! I'm only taking 150 mcg. of iodine right now, which is the daily recommended dose. A lot of these sites recommend WAY more than that. I'm not a doctor or health professional so proceed with caution on any of these things. All I can say is that it's really helping me.
