Since my last working out post I seem to have been doing a lot better in terms of eating, working out, and my general state of mind. Work still sucks. The day is not long enough to accomplish even the most mundane tasks. No, Mr. Software Man I did not credit off your invoice today, I promise I will do it tomorrow! No, I do not know when this will be shipping. And NO, I DON'T CARE! But, in spite of the hassles, the running around, the picking up the slack that no one grabs... I'm ok.
The last few days I still have been getting up early and running. Not for too long, Taste Tester's work schedule switched, so now I am running at 5:30-6:30; I have been doing- 45 minutes on the treadmill and then 15 minutes of either stretching or a tough ab workout.
No dancing, which makes me sad.
Maybe later on in the fall, after I get the budget worked out with the Peanut and her dance classes and such I will go back to dance class. That would be the greatest thing ever.
It did relieve a lot of stress, which is why I'm feeling sometimes I am wound up like a piano wire, ready to snap at the slightest touch. But running is a decent substitute for now and I will definitely keep on doing it!
Tonight I did do Hip Hop Abs! I really need to be doing this everynight! Get back to where I was before- although without the extra six hours of cardio from dancing, I'm not sure I will be able to do. I'm going to try though!
All is cool on the food front too. I have been doing really really well with clean eating. Salad, fresh fruits, soup, etc. Although, last night I did have a big bowl of cereal when I got home late... at least it was good. I have read that when you are tired you crave carbs and dang I was craving cereal hardcore! I'm glad I indulged in cereal and not a huge chocolate bar!
Anyway, I will be cooking this weekend and will have up a few other reviews from stuff .. maybe more recipes?! We are expecting this weekend to be a bust with all the tropical storms, lots of rain and such; so I'll be baking and baking and NOT eating all of it!
