Starbucks Goes Gluten-Free; Elisabeth Hasselbecks' G Free Diet Book Release

Get excited folks! Tomorrow is a fantastic day for the gluten-free community!

First of all, tomorrow morning Starbucks will launch its first gluten-free baked good in stores nationwide! The Gluten-Free Valencia Orange Cake is made with seven ingredients, all of which are 100 percent gluten-free! So, for just $2.25 plus your cup of coffee, you' ve got yourself a gluten-free meal on the go!

And, we' ve got a new cookbook coming out! Elisabeth Hasselbeck' s " The G Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide" hits bookstore shelves tomorrow, so be sure to check it out! The forward is written by Gfree diet Dr. Peter Green from The Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University.

The story chronicles Elisabeth' s search for a diagnosis and looks at how she finally figured out what was making her sick after visiting the Australian Outback during her appearance on Survivor. Throughout the book, Elisabeth shares her wisdom on living a gluten-free lifestyle and provides the reader with tons of tips for how to do it on their own. Topics include food labeling, creating a shopping list, recipes and eating gluten-free with family and friends! At the back of the book is a resource guide for finding products and cookbooks!
