I have frequent migraines (3-4/week on average) and fatigue (have had for decades), and a few people suggested to me that this might be because of gluten intolerance. I got the celiac bloodwork done, and it came back negative. I decided to go ahead and try a gluten-free diet anyway just to see if it worked. I was already a vegan so I'm used to being an obsessive label reader. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, and I found some gluten free pasta, bread and cereal I like. But I've been on the gluten-free diet for 9 weeks now, and I haven't really seen any improvement.
Should I have seen some improvement by now? Should I continue on this with the expectation that after X many months I'll feel better? Or should I conclude by now or by some point that gluten really isn't a factor in my health problems and go back to eating wheat (which fits into my budget a lot more easily)?
