So I am on my way to New York as I type. I am so giddy with anticipation, I am pretty sure everyone on the bus can tell. To me, New York is the ultimate Christmas city. When I picture Christmas, I picture scenes from memorable movies like "I've got mail" when Meg Ryan's character is decorating her tree and walking down Park Ave. Or "Home Alone 2", who didn't want to be left alone to their own devices at the Plaza Hotel after seeing that movie? So now it's my turn to experience the holiday cheer in the streets of New York. On the agenda, the Nutcracker, ice skating in Central Park and some surprises my hunny has up his sleeve. Like I posted earlier, there are definitely some good gf options in NYC, Italian, vegan, etc. But what I really want to know is, "how am I going to survive without a big piece of New York Pizza?" This is really going to be difficult. The last time I was in NYC I stuffed my face with pizza and garlic knots (little balls of garlic bread). They were sooooo good. If I can get through this, I can get through anything (or at least through any gluten challenge).
