Looking for the Drive and Some New Finds

Posted May 25 2010 7:10am
It has been far too long since my last blog post and no... I did not go back to eating gluten. To be honest, I did try to eat some non-gf pizza one night and it left me in pain. So either my body is not ready to go back or I am just fated to live this gf life forever. Things could definitely be worse, in fact, life is great and I keep finding more and more options for food. On a personal note... my hunny and I got ENGAGED! I'm on cloud nine and we are sooooo happy together. He's always been so supportive and has helped me through this journey and I am very grateful to have him in my life. We also just moved into a new home in Arlington and it is just blocks away from a Whole Foods so you bet I will be posting some new recipes soon!

Two new finds to share right off the bat as I get this fingers warmed back up:

-Z-Pizza!!! They have a wonderful gf crust and even carry vegan cheese if that fits your fancy. Check out there website to see if they have a location near you.

-If you live in the DC area... Lost Dog Cafe ! They also have a great gf pizza and such delicious toppings. They also have a very special mission of rescuing and placing dogs in safe homes. So if you are in the DC area and looking for a great pizza with a social conscience... check it out!

-Original Sin cider! I'm absolutely in love with this cider. I'm not the biggest fan of all ciders, sometimes I find them to be a little too sweet but this is not the case with OS. If you are a fan of prosecco, you will love it! It can be a bit challenging to find but their website gives you some direction as to where to find it.
