Well, Bisquick™ has their impossible pies…we have improbable ones. Using Pamelas Baking and Pancake Mix we can duplicate the results. This is an easy quiche type pie that takes no time at all!
Heat oven to 400°F
8 slices bacon cooked extra crisp (or cooked ham)
1 cup shredded cheese of your choice
1/3 cup chopped onion (I cook it with the bacon, but you can use it raw)
1/8 teaspoon pepper (Add other spices and experiment!)
Grease a 9″ glass pie pan. Sprinkle the cooked bacon, onions and your choice of meat into the plate. In a medium bowl, beat remaining ingredients until blended and pout into the pie plate on top of the onion/meat mixture. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
