I think I need to start getting in the habit of posting my workout immediately after it happens so I don't delay the post, or simply forget! Of course, I didn't forget about posting the workouts but my time management skills were lost this weekend and I was pretty much too lazy to do anything.
But I did work out!
Saturday morning I walked/ran on the treadmill for about an hour. I'm not sure what possessed me to wake up at 6:30 on a Saturday, but I was awake and itching to do something. So I hopped on the treadmill and once I started I couldn't stop! I ran for a solid 30 minutes, which was pretty impressive considering what happened to me the last time I went for a jog... I stopped running when I realized that I had successfully ran for 30 minutes. I figured if I went any longer I would hurt myself! Then I also did Hip Hop Abs Sculpt 2... "old reliable"! It was great to get a workout over and done with for the day. Even if I was tired later from getting up so early!
Sunday morning I attempted to do the same thing. I tried to wake up early and workout before my brunch plans for the day. I got up at about 9 am though and did Hip Hop Abs Cardio Level 2. The workout is 45 minutes long so it really worked me out! I also did the Last Minute Abs, and the Last Minute Dance Section on the same DVD. I was a dancing machine!!!!! ...OK, that was dumb!
Sunday BRUNCH. When gluten intolerant and allergic to dairy expect to have a miserable Sunday night after consuming French Toast for breakfast. Then expect that to turn into a LAZY Monday recovering from a migraine/pukey hangover. I should know better. I do know better. And I let my stomach take over my brain which then took over my stomach again and I ate the dang French Toast, knowing full well, I would probably be sick later. Fast foward a few hours and I was chugging Pepto and popping migraine medicine. SIGH.
GOOD AND EVIL!!!!!
Tuesday I felt well enough to work out again and decided to test out the two new DVDs I got. Hip Hop Abs Dance Party- Rockin Abs workout and TURBO JAM!!!!! I bought a Turbo Jam off Amazon for only 8 bucks! It includes 5 workouts on it, so this is REALLY a good deal for me! My final take on the Hip Hop Abs Dance party DVD.. not enough dance. Which is kind of sad for a "Dance Party" DVD. And the workout group in the background looks super-imposed on the screen! Like they AREN'T REALLY THERE! Who else has this DVD who can relate? Or tell me I need my eyes checked? I'll be doing Turbo Jam again tonight so I can get the moves down pat! I ran again this morning for an hour, so a 20 minute Turbo Jam will be no big deal tonight!
I'll try to either post the workout tonight or first thing in the morning! : )
