Hanukkah Recipe Day 3: Sauteed Green Beans with Sliced Almonds

Every holiday meal screams for a green vegetable. My sauteed green beans with sliced almonds is one of the easiest recipes to make and adds a crunchy zing to any holiday meal.

Sautéed Green Beans with Sliced Almonds

Yield: 6 servings

2 tablespoons butter
1 ½ pounds green beans, washed and tips removed
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 cup sliced almonds

  1. Heat butter in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add green beans and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until lightly browned. Add salt, garlic and almonds and sauté for another 2 minutes.
