Okay, so I've been trying to eat more essential fatty acids such as the healthy Omega 3's and 6's found in flax and sesame seeds. The other day when I picked up a little tiny package of dehydrated flax crackers for $3.99 at Whole Foods, I knew it was time to figure out how to make them myself.
Garlicky Flax Sesame Crackers 1 cup flax seeds 1 cup sesame seeds 2 gloves garlic 1 handful parsley 2 tsp cumin 1 tsp coriander 1 tsp sea salt
Soak seeds separately for 12 hours in 2 cups water respectively. The flax seeds will become very gooey. Drain sesame seeds. Puree or chop garlic and parsley. Add together with spices and drained sesame seeds into flax goo. Mix well. Spread onto dehydrator sheet and dehydrate at 105 for 12 hours. Flip onto mesh and dry another 4 hours or until crispy.
