I am a celiac. I have been diagnosed with multiple polyps in my colon and the surgeon is recommending a prophylactic colectomy. My concern is that I may have polyps in my small intestine due to the gluten sensitivity and so what happens if these also become a problem, can't remove large and small intestine presumably?
