Many people have asked me "How did you lose weight on a gluten free diet?"
It was so easy...
It took a little more time than a "quick fix" diet, but let me tell you it stayed off and is staying off forever!
To lose weight on a gluten free diet you have to do a little more than just not eat gluten. You have to have the motivation to look and feel better and that is the first and most important step of all. Without the motivation you will not want to continue the diet.
Picture yourself the way you want to look. Keep doing this all day and take a picture on the day you start your new lifestyle and put it away somewhere where you will not see it.
Many people notice that they begin to lose pounds when eating gluten free and there energy level feels great! People who never even wanted to take a walk or even garden, now start desiring to do things with that new found energy! What ultimately happens is when energy comes in energy has to go out. Put on your dancing shoes! When people ask me how to lose weight on a gluten free diet I tell them that you will need to make a couple of tweeks to your diet and lifestyle. It is very important that every step be done very slowly. You need to go slow because a new habit takes approx 21 days to become part of your lifestyle. Every step in your new way of eating should be done for at least 3 to 4 weeks before going to the next step.
I went from 206 to 130 pounds and continue to very easily stay at that weight now.
