This was an old post I found i hadn't published yet:
So today I came down to london to visit my friend who is living here at the moment. We did some shopping at a few of the markets. As I was walking through the markets I spotted a bakery stall selling an amazing array of cakes, pastries and bread. Then at the very end of the table I spotted a small signed declaring “gluten free bread”. Quickly walking over I saw two (very small) loafs hiding behind the sign. Upon closer inspection one was quinoa bread and the other linseed. At 3 pounds each they were not exactly at barging prices. But in the excitement of finding a different brand of bread I had not tried before I brought them both, figuring that my friend would no doubt help me eat them despite not being gluten free herself!

Well, both loaves of bread were very dense which I suspect was due to the fact that as well as being gluten free they were also yeast free. However they both held their shape when cut and did not have the crumbly problem most gluten free breads do. Overall I thought they were both very nice however preferred the taste of the linseed bread, but that was just me.

So anyone in london, get yourself down to Bricklane markets to sample this yummy bread!
