This week I received a letter from Alabama Pediatric Gastroenterology group.  My daughter sees Dr. Cavendar here.  I received news that Dr. Cavendar is relocating to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN in May of 2013.  Sad news is that this practice will be closing their doors at the end of April.  They give other options for Pediatric Gastroenterology Care:

If your child is a patient here I would recommend calling their office and having records transferred to your pediatrician's office until you find a new gastro office.  This practice will be seeing patients through April so if you need an appointment, don't delay!  You can call them at 205-933-5744.  If you wait to have your records transferred later, you will be able to find them through Dr. King's new practice in Gardendale, AL.
