I am  49 y/o old female that found out about 2 years ago that my Kidneys are failing I have what is called Alport Syndrome ,my father died about 4 years ago from kidney failure now my doctors are getting me ready for dialysis i feel scared and alone my family is very supportive for now but when the actual time comes I am not sure I will be able to count on them I also received a call from a transplant team here where i live to see if I am a suitable candidate
